Hearing impairment and inclusive schools

Learners who are deaf or have hearing impairment can and should learn in inclusive schools, considering the fact that many aids are available for them to pursue a normal education. In addition, most of their other cognitive skills are not affected by their hearing disabilities, which makes them as apt as any other student to learn (given that the lessons are adequately adapted for their needs).
